Introduction Maxpro 20 mg Capsule is a medicine used to reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It contains Esomeprazole, which belongs to a class of medicines called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine is commonly prescribed to treat acid reflux, heartburn, gastritis, and stomach ulcers. By lowering stomach acid, it helps relieve symptoms and promotes healing of the stomach lining. Uses Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Relief from heartburn and acid indigestion Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers Prevention of ulcers caused by NSAID pain medicines Treatment of H. pylori infection with antibiotics Side Effects Some people may experience mild side effects such as: Headache Nausea Diarrhea Stomach pain Gas or bloating These side effects are usually mild and temporary. Doses The dose depends on the patient’s condition and doctor’s advice. Acid reflux / GERD: 20 mg once daily Stomach ulcer: 20 mg once daily for 4–8 weeks H. pylori infection: 20 mg twice daily with antibiotics
